That is a killer soundtrack!
The ranged attack is interesting. It seems a bit powerful compared to the melee attack, especially since there's less risk of getting too close.
I don't have anything to add about the glitches.
Congratulations on the submission!
Thanks for the feedback. We submitted our game really close of the deadline, the idea was to the ranged attack has a bigger cooldown, but we didn't had time to do some tests, that's the reason why is so OP.
Stay in touch, soon we will release a post-jam version.
Great music and theme. Major points just for the title alone.
I found the gameplay a bit frustrating. When you jump, you lose sight of the floor and so are only guessing on where you should come down, whether it is on an enemy or not.
Also it may be just a glitch on my end, but often I would be in midair and then the camera would fling backward and my character would disappear. I think I was taking mid-air damage but it was very difficult to tell.
Hi, thanks for the feedback!
It was our first game jam, so we really struggled with some parts of the gameplay, so we didn't have time to fix up all the bugs and implement everything that we wanted to do. At least, I honestly think that the game has pretty cool sprites and songs.
Please keep in touch, we will release a better version in a few weeks. I hope you enjoy it!
Definitely, I didn't even finish my first few game jams so I know how that goes.
Like I say, very good music and I'm always in favor of any game where the protagonist is a shark. :)
