I have recently finished my game and Ive tried to export it but it won't work. I used the game.gb for the file.

you mentioned game.gb. so I assume you are using GB Studio. You just need to use the web export. if you are targeting gb hardware but not using GB Studio, look for BinjGB. GB Studio is using BinjGB for web export.
