How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
Our game perfectly aligns with the "Spooky" theme of GBJam. The player controls a mischievous ghost who embarks on a candy hunt, encountering spooky dangers along the way. The eerie atmosphere, combined with the playful yet haunting quest for candy, creates a fun but mysterious experience that fits well with the "Spooky" concept.

Using the lightning to give the player a brief view of the layout of the level is a nice touch.

Though the first level didn't make the best use of it (pretty clearly a quick level to showcase what got done in time for the jam), I could see the intermittent visuals from the lightning allow for some labyrinthine navigation and non-luminous threats.

although short, I really enjoyed the lightning lighting up the map. I think it really adds to the spooky vibe! thank you for building and submitting!

I won! Delicious candy!  The little ghost was very cute, I like its movement & 'death' animations.  The lightning effect was pretty neat.
