@TeamKwaKwa - Thanks! Yeah, that was the plan originally, but my week ended up being busier than I had anticipated so I had to compromise some things. I wanted to have a boss level too!

@MidiPixel - Thank you :)

@MuscularHair - Yeah, it can be a bit too brutal at times I think. I need to reset the enemy's attack swing if they get hit, or give the player some immunity.

@Jupiter_Hadley - Thank you very much! That was so cool to watch, and thank you for the kind words in the video :)

Very well made, fun game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)

The game was fun and I enjoyed it. However I am unable to complete it as for some reason the enemies are able to hit you pretty much at any time during your attack, making it rely on luck with whether you take damage or not. I'm not sure if it's a bug or design but I think some kind of invulnerability when you connect a hit would do the game wonders!

Overall pretty fun though. Good job!

Lovely entry. The assets you created are cool, I felt a little bit like Alex Kidd throwing punches around with my giant hand. And I LOVED the twist at the end. Fix some of the bugs, add more enemies, moves, etc, and you're done! :)

Very enjoyable game!

You should show the cinematic instead of writing, not like it was a crazy interesting story.

Very simple gameplay, some little bugs like the layer of the enemies when they are in the front but behind with their images. Very nice graphics, max for me.

Nice music too
