Dang it, This game looked amazing, but I get an error when running it...

     Error

main.lua:13: bad argument #2 to 'newSource' (string expected, got no value)

     Traceback

     [C]: in function 'newSource'
     main.lua:13: in function 'load'
     [C]: in function 'xpcall'
     [C]: in function 'xpcall'

Which is kind of odd seeing as that line clearly has a string with the path to 'theme_day.ogg'...

Very clever idea that is well executed. Amazing stuff.

Awesome game love the 'link cable' mechanics and that both of them have different abilities! The art is fantastic, the soundfx+music fit the whole game well and altogether makes it one of my favourite games of this jam!

Very nice entry! I had to play alone, but the idea is interesting and fun. Also, lovely art and music :)

I didn't play too much of this as I don't have anyone to play with on hand, but I'm definitely going to revisit this one with a friend! The artwork is gorgeous, and it seems like it would be a lot of fun to play as intended!

Best game of the jam POINT

I love the two player concept, although it's rather confusing to control by yourself and can be a bit frustrating to have to do the same section twice; or more if you die. One complaint that I do have is that you seem to need to jump far earlier than you'd expect before it's too late and you just walk off the platform, adding a brief window where you can jump even while falling would be a great improvement.

A very nice game!

Unfortunately I did play alone but enough to get the mechanics and spirit.

Very clever! Indeed our games have a lot in common, but with a lot of difference!

I loved the art. Congrats!

Fantastic style and really cool mechanic! Cooperative teamwork games are great but I haven't seen them combined with platforming yet. Would love to see it developed further!

Stunning entry ! It's great as an introductory game for those new to the platforming-teamwork genre if there's one, as the later stages will definitely be easier with another person. But beautiful palettes and gorgeous music it's definitely very solid for this jam !

Impressively detailed, amazing work!

I'm definately saving this for when I have a second player, I played by myself for a few minutes but it felt like I was missing out. Either way, good job!

It looks really great and the multiplayer concept is nice !

Great palette choices and pixel art & tileset. Love how the characters can switch abilities, but only when in proximity! It creates a real strong relationship between them :)

I agree that it would be an awesome game to play link-style between two gameboys. Very well done!

Really really freakin neat, awesome job

Beautiful, well made game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)

Beautiful graphics, and I love the split graphics. Would make a cool gameboy link-cable style game.
