Creepy atmosphere! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the GBJam 5 games, if you'd like to take a look :)

Looks really cool! The atmosphere was nice, but I think it'd work better with a smaller map with more detail. I liked what the sound was trying to do, but it should be toned down a bit since it became painful to listen to.

First and foremost: I love your approach to the jam restrictions; I haven't seen a single other entry that looks even remotely like this one.

The audio did a really good job of setting a creepy atmosphere, but it also got pretty annoying after awhile.

From a gameplay point-of-view, I would have preferred if the map was smaller and there were less tonics to find. I don't know if I managed to find them all, but walking around large, non-distinct areas looking for tiny bottles hidden in corners got tedious pretty quickly, especially since you could only carry four at a time.

@oxysofts Thanks for the nice feedback! The game is pretty stripped down from my original plan so if you've been walking around for 30 minutes, you've probably pretty much seen it all (you must have just missed a bottle or two, but nothing exciting happens when you get them all).

I've been walking around for 30 minutes throwing tonic into a hole and ppl disappearing. Now I don't know what to do or if there's even anything left to do. Awesome graphics and creepy ambiance but really bad at giving you directions.

Weird and creepy, which is good! Visually stunning, art style is pretty unique, it makes me want to see more. I lost the sense of direction at some point, maybe a mini map would be swell.. Great job!

Wow, good job on the mood... This is sooo creepy...

I'ts a bit unclear what you're supposed to do...

Developer

Oh no! There should be sound, are you sure your speakers/headphones are working?
