It was fun, I like this kind of game focusing on the boss fight, it was quite simple in the end but I liked it, the general atmosphere was cool too, nice work !
I think the ammo limit kinda hamstrung the fun a bit, I tried out the kraken boss first and found myself running back and forth to replenish ammo, it was just busy work.
Some real good music though, and I think with some balance tweaks, the gameplay would be incredibly fun
Nice game, I played it to the end.
As another commenter mentioned the tentacles are at a different resolution.
I've fixed the tentacle appearance issue, it will be updated once the jam is over!
Good and fun concept! It was nice to receive health and ammo upgrades, but then that made the boss fights a bit too easy.
Dude! This made me laugh dude. For good reasons. I love the music and general vibe. Definitely hardcore.
Very cool, get big Dark souls boss vibes from a couple of them. Fun beats to kill monsters to.
This might be one of the most underrated games of the jam so far! The art blew me away, the music was great! The story was hilariously and brilliantly executed, I love how you are a 'Space Marine' so the enemies are sea creatures! hahaha, fantastic! Only problem was the tentacles in the torpedo room were using a different pixel density, and once I killed all the bosses, nothing really happened and it was telling me to kill them still. Either way, great game, well done!!
Thank you so much! Glad the pun paid off! The computers in the main room should change once the bosses are defeated but It appears to not always trigger, so once the jam is over I’ll patch it!
Nice entry.
I liked the bosses, each one is unique :)
