When I saw the screenshots, I was expecting this to be like a "1943" arcade game clone, but what I got instead was this interesting surprise of a game! I really liked the like landscapes you were able to make with your sprites. Like, "PEARL HARBOR" , to me, looked really good, from the coastline to all the little building structures. 

Dog fighting with other aircraft felt fun from a control standpoint. Really liked the tense feeling of being chased by them; having to frantically move else be peppered by their bullets if I fly in a straight line.

I like your concept of this game. My only big critique is that I feel that the enemies are both too responsive / too fast right from the get go. For example, I feel that if maybe the stationary turrets were a bit slower with turning, maybe at least initially for the first stage or two, it would give a much more forgivable learning curve. The planes already move at a relatively fast pace, so I think it may be a good balancing decision since the playing field is already skewed against you. Maybe I just suck, I did die like five times on Tutorial 1 lmao.

All in all I really did enjoy playing this. I liked you take on this type of game, and I definitely see myself wanted to play more.

That's a really good idea. I like the planes movement, feels really good!

But you get destroyed too quick. I think it would have been nice if there was a quick restart, so that you can have another try right after failing and maybe starting very close to the action. That would motivate alot to try and try again. :)

The backgrounds looks really nice but I would have liked if the planes looked more like planes. But maybe that wasn't possible with all the angles? :)

Wow I destroyed so many villages... I think I may be a war criminal now. The game was pretty challenging, I couldn't quite finish the last level. I did enjoy having the bombs available for use!

Having multiple levels of difficulty was much appreciated.

Nice Work!  Holy cow it was hard!!  The towers were *super* accurate.  Clever idea for a game!  Good job staying within the confines of the jam.  The pixel art was good.  I sometimes couldn't tell the sounds apart, if I was getting hit or them.  Usually, it was me, haha.  :)

Well done with this one Opalir! I really like how responsive and smooth the controls are! The game is also really snappy which makes it super addictive to just have another quick go! Great Job!

I felt bad accidentally bombing all the little houses, but I guess that's intentional!

Really nice game. The graphics are pretty nice (I love the colors you chose :3) and I like the diversity of the levels. On the other hand, the game is very difficult and pressing W to go forward makes the gameplay kinda not intuitive, but nothing serious. A good game ^^

I really enjoyed this!! It got pretty hard but it was so fun!!

I enjoyed cleared easy and normal. I think too hard. need more health and invincible time after damage.
When I do good move and kill enemies, I feel I am great pilot.
