Nice 3D road-crossing game.

I like the roto-looking running animation.

Good game! Well done :)

Nice and cool idea with some minor technical issues.

It lags although the scene looks balanced to me and the music overlaps each other.

Polish it and bam! You got an excellent game.

Developer(+1)

I think the music overlapped due to lag because it hasn’t happened to me or to any friends but lag on general YES is an issue 😄 I appreciate your willingness to leave a comment! If it would’ve helped, you can lower the visual quality (or raise it past the default) to increase the stability

screw you!!! *rides on the hood of a red car like a boss*

ok but in all seriousness i really liked this game, although the movement felt a bit clunky at times and... sticky almost??

the concept is creative and i'd love to see it expanded into a fully polished game someday :D

also idk if this is a skill issue on my end or what but on the start of the 4th stage the double jump activated like when i really just did NOT need it to and it'd make me have to backtrack to the beginning and re-grab the double jump power up :p

i feel like maybe a dedicated key to activate your power up would've worked better, like binding it to the e key or somethin'

7/10 soggy cats! frogger but AWESOME

🤣 oh the joys of game jams! Of course! Thanks for your in depth review! 😄

yeah, there is a slight moment after landing from a fall or jump where you don’t move, kinda imitating real life where you are kinda “stunned” when landing on both 2 feet. Due to rush of the deadline, I couldn’t get jumping working properly off of moving platforms so that’s maybe why it caused you to double jump off them. The player hit box is 40px by 40px than 85px in depth. If you’re 20 pixels away from the edge of a platform, you’ll begin a fall and can trigger your abilities like that by accident.

I do plan on making this concept into a full fledged game :D but I will rewrite everything because this game jam submission was just my first try at using 3D in GDevelop and it’s got flaws! I could benefit greatly in rewriting stuff 🙂

Really fun game! landing jumps feel a bit sticky but it's not too much of a problem. great job!

Developer

🙂 thank you! Yeah! For a split second after landing a jump, you can’t move. It’s like in real life generally when you land a jump, it takes a small bit to get moving again

REALLY well made 3d platformer with hilarious hand animations <3

Developer(+1)

your game is better 🙂 well done this time!

I appreciate that <3
But let the crowd say up their mind :)

THE NEW GTA? I found it hard to jump! congratulations!

The visuals are great, and I agree with your friends, I like the arms. Kinda reminds me of mirror's edge. I don't feel any coyote time though, which makes jumps very hard to do. I gave up after dying several times on the 3rd level

this is the most 3D game i've seen from the jam so far. though there is a bit of jank like falling through moving platforms; also a bit strange to add a new powerup at the end of the game without teaching the player how it works in a safe environment [atleast i think that's the end game].

Developer

truest me, I’m well aware of this game design flaw, but I was low on time for anything else then. 😅 thanks a heck ton for having feedback!

Submitted(+1)

This one is the most fun. One minor critique I have is that sometimes the double jump goes off when you only jump a single time. Loved the arms.

Developer(+1)

The only way a double jump could have triggered without having done the initial jump is when even by 1px you could have been JUST over the platform ledge. Thanks a ton for the feedback on my submission!! Yeah, the arms were initially placeholders to pass onto an artist, but friends of mine insisted that they like the arms! so they stayed xD

The game was fun! The last level was pretty difficult but the ending credits made it worth it.

not bad, however moving doesnt seem to work for some reason :(

Developer(+1)

moving? If you are playing on a gamepad, make sure that the gamepad is plugged into your primary USB port to register as controller #1
