thank you for checking out this thing I made. I only submitted this despite it being so incomplete  so that I can rate other people’s work because THAT’s the fun part for me 😛

I’m giving this a very high score! I’ve only tested this on my iPhone so far but it’s controls were good enough for now and I can’t wait to give at it on my computer! I remember seeing this on the GDev discord and this great is so beautiful! I kind of wish that the text in the intro would go faster

I think the music overlapped due to lag because it hasn’t happened to me or to any friends but lag on general YES is an issue 😄 I appreciate your willingness to leave a comment! If it would’ve helped, you can lower the visual quality (or raise it past the default) to increase the stability

your game is better 🙂 well done this time!

🤣 oh the joys of game jams! Of course! Thanks for your in depth review! 😄

yeah, there is a slight moment after landing from a fall or jump where you don’t move, kinda imitating real life where you are kinda “stunned” when landing on both 2 feet. Due to rush of the deadline, I couldn’t get jumping working properly off of moving platforms so that’s maybe why it caused you to double jump off them. The player hit box is 40px by 40px than 85px in depth. If you’re 20 pixels away from the edge of a platform, you’ll begin a fall and can trigger your abilities like that by accident.

I do plan on making this concept into a full fledged game :D but I will rewrite everything because this game jam submission was just my first try at using 3D in GDevelop and it’s got flaws! I could benefit greatly in rewriting stuff 🙂

🙂 thank you! Yeah! For a split second after landing a jump, you can’t move. It’s like in real life generally when you land a jump, it takes a small bit to get moving again

truest me, I’m well aware of this game design flaw, but I was low on time for anything else then. 😅 thanks a heck ton for having feedback!

The only way a double jump could have triggered without having done the initial jump is when even by 1px you could have been JUST over the platform ledge. Thanks a ton for the feedback on my submission!! Yeah, the arms were initially placeholders to pass onto an artist, but friends of mine insisted that they like the arms! so they stayed xD

MY GOSH! this is clever game design!

Dang, man. I love 3D platformers and I see this one has the ability to like vault ontop of things. I know you didn't really get to do much for this jam, but I sure hope it was a fun time making this submission for you :)

This is funny! It was hard to do, but I can just push the blind guy with 1 single box in each level and essentially speedrun!

This is clever incorporation with the jam theme! I LOOOVE the idea of pressing keyboard keys instead of clicking buttons to navigate menus, it's like being blind

Surprisingly, the game progression isn't slow! I first thought that this would take me a while to stop getting lost, but somehow I could keep up the pace well enough! One part, I thought I was freezing to death, but I guess there's some grace there.

The sound effects are perfect for this game! Good incorporation of the Jam theme

awe. Well I’m sorry it won’t work. I wonder if it has to do with something about the Pointer Lock extension. How far can you get until it soft locks? Before the gameplay?

That's VERY weird. I think this is because I used the "Is molbile device" somewhere and forgot to remove it. It works completely fine for me and my friends who also use Edge like you and I. How "Mobile" is your computer? If you can and wouldn't mind to, you can try on a desktop or other laptop computer :P (I use a laptop)

moving? If you are playing on a gamepad, make sure that the gamepad is plugged into your primary USB port to register as controller #1

uh

Not sure what’s going on there. In my west time zone, it starts around noon of May 19. You must live far East

of course! I would love to try out your game and leave my thoughts! 😇 will do so tonight!

I think my choice of designing the levels to be difficult is to blame for that :/

your strength in this was definitely the UI design. I can see something like this truly resonating with the younger ones! Wonderful stuff!

I highly appreciate your compliments! Reading on your full comment I am reminded of the importance of making a wide range of keybind motion. It was something n I was supposed to get around to adding in this project, but forgot with pressure of working on it at 3AM before the deadline lol

wow I just noticed that the mouse click graphics are also used in Spirit of the North, a game which I play often

thank you :>!

The only control on a keyboard that’s there is ESC to exit. I think I had some code that was made with the future of adding custom keybinds in mind. But I guess I just never got to that

CHALLENGING!!! WEOOOOOO got 1st out of 3 at the moment. I like the progressive added difficulty over timeas well!

This is so intricate! more than my brain can handle! yet that adds to immersion of this son's father and how he would have worked to handle the situation. nice work!

HAHA wow! that is an interesting babysitting simulator game LOL

I looove the cursor and its jiggliness!

pleasure is mine to check out your submission!

interesting idea! I’m thrilled to find out how it plays!

literally !

haha, i guess it's got that formula!

WOW such a good integration of the theme! what a high detail environment this is too especially for GD 3d. i was left pretty confused at first however i noticed i was being separated from the body but couldnt understand what was triggering it. i am mostly going off of this gameplay video

Unity != GDevelop

submission deadline is approaching in a couple minutes! I wonder what you guys will search for first within the submissions to start voting 😁

I think this will be fun!

I love the use of 3D and monochromatic real life images I think you’ve set that up really well! Good font choice too!

It stands out from the crowd for sure

this was the first submission that caught my eye. Inspiring to say the least
