Nice use of the physics and very adictive, some boxes drop outside the table since they fall, perhaps setting a range of x coordinates will help.
You know what I love the most of your game?
It was done for the strongest team in the world: Family.
I hope it was a wonderful experience for you all, and your kid start doing their own games later on.

Congratulations!

Developer

Thanks for playing and feedback! We were sort of back and forth about tightening up the range RNG vs in constraints. We plan on continuing to work on it after the jam!

Nice game! Really enjoyed it :D

Thank you! We are going to continue to update post-jam!

The physics is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ amazing, good job by the way.

Thank You!

A nice fun little game! Great Job!

Thanks for playing!

A fun physics game. Sometimes when you have it stacked up really high and nearly everything tumbles off at once it can get a bit ARGH! Addictive though, well done.

Developer

Thanks ! That happened when I recorded the gameplay trailer. Earlier versions were even harder without the powerups and slightly different physics. Post-jam, I'm considering starting at easier levels and progressing to this level at about mid-game. Thanks again for the feedback!

I did really enjoy playing this game. I hope you turn this in to a Android release after some updates!

Developer

Thanks! That seems to be the plan on the horizon! :)

Very fun idea, the physics feel good. A less random spawning position for the boxes could make it a bit more fun to play. Now you're at the mercy of the game for getting boxes where needed.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback and playing! Went back and forth on that mechanic . It was sort of feature not a bug. Also, mid-jam talked with a few other teams that had similar game mechanic so differentiated a bit boxes

RNG and x position. May fork and try it the other way post jam. Again thanks for the feedback!

It is wonderful that you made this a family event! I really enjoyed the sound effects and the use of gravity!

Developer(+1)

Thank You! It is a lot of fun to do it that way!

Simple chill game with potential! I enjoyed it. I really hope one day I can make games with my future kid :p

Thanks for playing and the kind wordz!

so this was very funny i would love to see more stuff but i can see the love on this

Developer

Thank you! Yes, someone mentioned a milk drop feature and my son said it should break and splash on the screen and remove all your cereal boxes but not restart your timer.

Submitted(+1)

Simple and fun and in a good way.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!

Nice......I love that kind of games!!!!

Developer

Thanks, I like yours too!

Such a fun thing to make with your son!

Developer

Thanks! Yes, it was. He actually kept us from over-scoping too much. He was a great lead designer :D My original idea was a very ambitious isometric falling brains vs souls game where all the pieces converted to blocks and then pushed into each other with some kind of scoring mechanism and win state.

i like the physics and the balance on the table :D

Well made :3

Developer(+1)

Thanks, the balancing took more tweaking than I thought it would. The Box sizes and the x positioning of falling boxes are all RNG within a range. I think there were some extensions I could have used but it is all hardcoded within the event system by me.  Thanks for playing!

Nice idea of stacking boxes with physics <3

Developer(+1)

Thanks! My son was sorting his captain crunch when we were talking about the theme then said box fort builder all the power-ups and droppers he came up with. Like yours too!!

Submitted(+1)

That makes it all the more awesome as well, cheers to the kid for coming up with the idea <3

Submitted(+1)

I think it could use a few more SFX but it is super cute and I enjoyed playing it. good color scheme too!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! We plan on adding a few more and adding dynamic leveling each time you hit theceling the platform shrinks etc.
