Idle games are pretty cool, I love them. But I don't know how to do them in GDevelop.
I have created an idle game using GDevelop before which you can see here. And I am now working on a new one.
For your game; instead of using the dice, you can use timers for triggering the events.

I tried your idle game. It's simple but pretty cool. And it's still playing when the game is closed, that's so awesome! I wonder how you did that.
My wish is to definitely try making some idle games in the future, idle games and rpg, but I still have a lot to learn before that. I'm only using GDevelop for 9 months now and this was the first time I tried making a game that's not a platformer :)

Really interesting seeing someone go for a board game mechanic, it is always nice to see different genres being explored doing a game jam, and this game is certainly unique in that regard! Every thing in the game seemed to work as it should, no bugs or anything from what I noticed but having said that, it got a little disorientating that you just got teleported from tile to tile, and the the font seemed a bit out of place with the pixel graphics, but I must say this game went for something uniquely different and I can respect that :)
Thank you! I originally wanted character to walk on board, but i couldn't figure out how to do it without bugs so I left it as it is now.
if you add more tiles it would have been nice with more features.although its a nice game.

A board game, nice. I wish animations were smoother. Tween might help you with that. Just make the guy travel to each of the squares at the time, so he won't cut the corners. As someone said, there lots of room for improvement. Just keep it up and you'll be a pro developer! GJ anyways. Also, if you got some time, feel free to check out my game maybe? ;)

I didn't immediately realize that I should click as fast as possible and buy food for the dog, but I managed. As a concept it is very good, but there is a lot of room for improvement. First of all, try to slow things down a bit. Maybe using a timer after each roll and animating the player to jump from square to square would be less frantic. No hard feelings because I speak with the best intentions and I see a lot of potential in your concept.
Thank you for your opinion. I planned to do those things, but I couldn't figure out how to do it and I ran out of time so I left it as it is now. I will maybe try to improve it and make a real game out of it after jams ends :)

Good game. reminded me of those good old days we cousins used to play board games, Wondering did you participated in GMTK? ...as it has "Roll the dice" element. Honestly there is a lot of space for improvement, especially in ui , and it should also have a quick tutorial. Saying that, the concept was very unique and can be a fun release.

Thank you! I didn't participated in GMTK. I wanted but I was pretty busy with some projects I was working on, so I didn't have time. I'm glad that you like the game. I planned to add more things and make it better, but I ran into a lot of problems while making it, so I didn't have time to make all that I originally planned. And I will definitely try your game, no problem :)

I know. I'm having some trouble with my game. It says that my project contains a filename with non UTF-8 Encoded characters and it doesn't work because of that :(
