Fun game and great use of the 3D features of GDevelop. I enjoyed shooting the targets a lot but didn't quite understand the ghost element, it seemed more efficient to just never use the radar and instead aim for Red and Yellow targets. Especially since you sometimes hit the ghost anyway even if you can't see it.
The connection to the theme was pretty loose, as far as I could tell it was just turning on the radar. Great polish across the board though, with sound effects and other assets tying it all together.
Cool start menu art! I enjoyed playing it, one of the rare first person entries. Nice, hope to see it expanded further.
And if you get a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would love any feedback, thanks!
...isn't this one of the existing examples in the First Person templates of GDev? Minus the ghost thing, of course
I know it is hard but I would request all to try the lilluo.io version as the itch.io version has some bugs in it
prety good but it kinda is not with the theme and after awhile it is no longer fun but still good job p.s pls play my game https://coolcodedude.itch.io/a-light-in-the-dark ratings are greatly appreciated
sorry for the inconvenience but actually the lilluo.io version of the game has the theme in it
Is the radar kind of adaption of on/off jam theme?
Also, I couldn't hit the ghost it does not seem to benefit to enable radar at all, because while you can shoot up to 3 ghost, meanwhile you can shot more targets without the radar
It was as fine shooter, but there needs to be more to really draw in the player. I just kept ghost mode on and trying to get the +10 points. Also, is movement even needed? I don't think I moved at all after the first few seconds (just didn't feel like I need to). Keep it up, 3D is hard!
Nice effort! I believe this game could benefit from a bit more refinement, but I still found it enjoyable overall.
Furthermore, I'd like to extend a gentle request for you to take a moment to experience my game, share your thoughts, and provide a rating. You can access it through this link: [Game Link] (And don't forget to seize the opportunity to secure your place on the leaderboard by adding your name! 😆)
