I enjoyed this one, and played through all the levels. I think the coyote time required jumps is introduced a bit early. If you want coyote time to be a part of the game mechanics and not just a quality of life-thing, you might want to introduce it a bit more to the player.
I liked the jump feel, but had some issues positioning the cube precisely sometimes. Perhaps you could reduce the hitbox so you don't die if a bullet just barely touches you. I think this game would benefit from being slightly more forgiving.
I loved that the level just instantly restarted when I died.
Very well done!
Thanks for the kind words and well done on getting through all of the levels ! This is my first time doing a platformer of any kind and I have learnt a lot from these comments.
Awesome!
The level editor is a great touch, I don't yet have the know-how to be able to pull something like that off, but would love to learn. The only thing I didn't like is in some of the premade levels, the platforms seemed way too far away, you sorta had to fall off the previous platform, wait a sec then jump in order to make it to the next platform. Apart from that, I loved it, keep it up.
Thanks for posting your game,
Bazza
Yeah those jumps was me thinking I was making it challenging but in the end I think it took something away too.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you had fun.
Congrats buddy, your game is really nice.
I really had a good challenge with your day/night system and it's puzzles
Thanks, glad you liked it.
Very ambitious to make a level editor!
I enjoyed the sample level campaign. Gameplay and art are simple but it's nice and polished.
I thought making an editor would be easier than coming up with actual levels. hahaha
Thanks for the kind comments
I'm a coder not a book keeper :)
However, I spent 2.5 weekends and a few too many week nights after dinner coding this.
