Fun! And gets quite intense/nerve wracking in the night cycle.

As you call out the biggest missing thing would be a scrolling background. I think this would have made heaps of difference to the presentation. The next visual thing would be more varied obstacles, but that’s probably just finding more sprites vs getting the scrolling background working, which as you write is more of a technical challenge!

I think there’s a bunch of potential here to expand on the basic idea and run with the simplicity and slickness of it. Well done!

I liked your endless runner game buddy, the main menu screen is also beautiful and it is working properly.

I loved driving at night with only the headlights to see and think this was a great use of the Day and Night theme. I had fun dodging the rocks but wished there were just a few more different things to dodge or even different sized versions of the same rocks.  If you could move forward and back a little bit I think it would help it feel more dynamic . Well done on completing a fun game.

Fun little arcade game!  I really like that your vision at night is tied to the cars position because it forces you to be moving constantly at night so you don't miss any upcoming obstacles, while during the day you can just carefully plot your path. Makes both phases feel distinct, in a good way.

Maybe there could be some kind of mechanic where your headlights dim over time, and you need to collect batteries to make your headlights stronger?

Thanks heaps for the comment, I agree, I would have loved to make some sort of powerup to determine the length/ intensity of the beam. I actually talked about this in the game description I think, where I outlined all the areas I would have liked to improve on and things I would have done if I had more time / experience.
