Pretty good, I feel like it was a huge lore dump only to be revealed with a basic "time the meter" game with no change in gameplay, just the same thing over and over, didn't really stimulate my braincells alas, art was quite nice though, so was the idea.

Developer

100% agree, time ate away at me this round, and it shows. Thanks for playing!

this game called me pathetic. 10/10

The game feel, polish, sounds and artwork are all great and I played to the end because I liked to see what boss I'd face next. Throwing the spear upwards is a great idea but I think there could have been more added to make the spear more fun like clicking on bombs to boost the height, it's still pretty good though

Thanks for playing! Yeah, the gameplay is a bit stale, I originally wanted to add power-ups and other obstacles, but I really just fumbled around too long and ran out of time. Thanks again for checking it out!

pretty fun for what you were able to make in the time you had! as usual the art is amazing and so was the polish, but i just wish the game had a bit more depth, other than that nice entry and the gods do be cruel

Thanks! I appreciate it! I really would have liked to flesh it out more, but, it is what it is.

Your game is definitely a sport. There are plenty of sports that are based on throwing an object for distance. As always, I love the art style with your game. Such a simple style with a limited palette, but still looks great.

I enjoyed playing the game, but wished it was a little more fast paced. It took so long for the spear to come back down, even when I knew I already failed. Maybe something like a quick restart button would help? Overall great job.

Developer

Thank you. Truthfully, I'm not super happy with how it turned out, but I appreciate the kind words!

There is a quick reset button! Pressing 'R' should reset the level! Thanks again.

Oops, I totally missed that in your instructions. Now I have a reason to go back and go for the max score.

I tried again now knowing about the restart and makes it much more enjoyable. I wish I would have put a restart in my game, as it really adds to the quality of life.

Nice lore and solemn dramatic music! I felt leaderboard was superfluous as there is no  variation in scoring, (everyone who defeated last boss got the same score), great art and story idea though

Developer

Oh dang, I must have missed that. Time really got to me this round. Thanks for the feedback!
