I like your idea. I think the movement can use a little more polish. I played with the gamepad and the d-pad was a lot more responsive than the stick, but even then I want the skating to be more tight on the controls and maybe even faster, so there's more of a reason to swap between the two modes.

the skating  to me imo feels a bit rough to control I cant make kinda precise movements  instead I  run into a wall  and cant  move a certain direction (depending on the direction I am facing )

As always, your character's movement oozes with charm and even though it's just a square, the skating ability feels satisfying as hell already. How do you even do that? Well done!

I think this could be a good game but think it would be nicer if the character wasn't just a square, and the ability seems to be the same as running from what I can do at the moment but you might have some other ideas for the ice

Very cool skating, reminds me a bit of the Mario games! I would be interested to see how this would turn into a game! Certainly has potential for some great challenges.
