Nice enemy system, reminds me of PacMan :)

I actually used the same algorithm as the original PacMan. (I am too dumb to understand how the newer and more effecient one works)

I like your choice to send the player in the direction selected upon key press and not forcing me to hold it down. Some increased pacing with the enemies would be great, but for a prototype I like it a lot.

Yeah I just picked some random numbers for the variables. If we ever have to make a whole game out of this, I'll definitely try to find the right numbers for the variables.

I'm not sure what the toy was but I still enjoyed the game. One problem I did notice and it could just be me I don't know, but it seemed like part of the screen was missing as it was displaying in just the top left corner. The game itself seems quite easy to me at the moment but for a level 1 it is a good difficulty setting and I like how you have set it so that the level changes

Yeah I purposely did that. There is no fullscreen option in the graphics library I use, so I used this bootleg one. It tends to leave lots of freespace, but it fits the screen more or less for any monitor size.

Also for the toy, I was stuck until I realized that the level itself is a toy (Also I just got lazy).

Fair enough. I think Xanderwood's definition of toy was loose enough that you can use it for anything you want really so I'd say that's perfectly fine and I haven't knocked any stars off

I like the enemy design, and it is a good idea to have a random generated level. It works well with these kind of games. My suggestion is to make the enemies respawn over time, or have some kind of time limit. Put a little pressure to the player, as now I can just clean the level and then easily connect the 2 characters

Simple to pick up, deceptively complex to play. I like it, shows a lot of promise.
