Game Dev Knock Out (GDKO) is an elimination tournament for game developers of all skillsets. It's played out over 5 rounds between January and May with the game developers with the lowest scores being eliminated each round until only 5 developers remain to take part in the final of the competition.
Congratulations to round 3 winner Jeremy Bouin and also to round 3 runner ups Loten and ICY Games for some fantastic games!
Also well done to Spadeship for slipping through by the narrowest of margins, doing enough to sway guest judge Vandervas Generator and earning the round 3 wildcard.
TASK: Classic Recreate: Recreate the Atari 2600 game Centipede. QUALIFICATION: It's Dev vs Dev, the top 3 will automatically progress and the remaining 20 will be randomly paired. Out rank your opponent to progress.

Can I build on my round 1, 2 or 3 entry? Yes, if you can work the core mechanics of Centipede into your game.
Can I start a new project? Yes you can.
Do I have to make an identical copy of the game? You need to remake the Atari 2600 game Centipede in your own style. You can put your own spin on it. Be sure to check out last years dev v dev round on my Youtube for ideas on how last years competitors addressed the challenge.
Can I try and hack the round 5 itch.io page? No.
