Operation "Fall off the map while drunk": Success!!

I liked the characters and loved how it looks like you were drunk while making this xDD
Wish I knew so I could play this while drunk too!

I really enjoyed this! I was really surprised to get a opening scene to the game it was some nice polish. I enjoyed the animations and stages created but the controls felt a little janky but game jam ya feel or maybe it's cus I'm drunk lol. Even just the main menu having transitions for the options was all nice detail. Enjoyed traversing the stage just doing flips :D Well done all of you and thanks!

Play session 2 comments: I got rather determined to beat the game and I noticed the rooms were different each play through, nice! Having the dodge mechanic actually allowed for trying to 'outplay' the monsters. I got to the end tho and the door open music kept playing and I fell off the map lol. I consider that a victory!

Thank you so much! It's always pleasant to see people enjoying your own games C:

Hah I'm glad you liked the small details, although I probably shouldn't have wasted time I didn't have there (oops)

Nice job beating the game! I am aware of that bug, related to a missing value (explained better in another reply) I uploaded an out-of-jam version for people to play after voting this one, if you want to get to the credits (I actually made a credits scene but, of course, it's unreachable in this version)

It's great, combat is as good as melee 3d combat at this stage in development can be, altough I really wouldn't call it fun, attacks lack punch or any satisfaction.

I love the low poly broken tile floor, it shows potential for a detailed low poly environment that could be brilliant but I really am not a fan of the character models.

I found 1 bug.

When you pause the game and return to the main menu and start the game again the main menu stays on the screen forcing you to restart the game.

Thanks for the feedback C:

I am aware of the combat not being great, I went for something far too complicated to be done in 2 days (couldn't work on friday). Hopefully I'll be able to patch it up after the voting period, I believe the most unfun part of it is the hit detection.

Regarding the bug, it's related to the missing room. When generating rooms I forgot to add a value which bugs the manager which bugs the uimanager which bugs the... you get the idea. Glad you enjoyed it though, thanks for playing!

This is awesome! I love the theme of a drunken man getting lost in a dungeon, then having to find his way out, while also being drunk! This game also has an awesome style. The only downside is the combat is a bit lacking and slow, which is understandable. I love this game though, very good job!

Wow, thank you so much for your feedback! It's nice to see all our effort being repaid c:

The combat is missing a lot of features we wanted to add but couldn't due to miscalculated time, sadly. I'm glad you enjoyed it nonetheless!

I totally get that! there was so much I wanted to add/fix that I didn't have time for. But yeah, I really enjoy the concept, its fun
