I appreciate the narrative approach a lot! However was quite confused by the UI, didn't know which buttons and selections did what or who said what. Cool anyway!

I like the idea very much and oh god.. give the guy who wrote the dialogues a raise, because he certainly deserves so!

Jokes aside, the game is really good, but a bit rough around the edges. And you can tell that this is really authentic, because there is no way to win without being a populist.

But overall I loved id and will definitely check out the finished version in the future.

Thank you for the kind review. You can play the (almost) finished game  here.   It went through some very heavy polishing and bugfixing. The gameplay is already finished, now we are just working on the end screen newspaper, which should be ready tomorrow.

You don't have to be a full-blown populist to win, but its true that you probably have to chose a populist answer here and there.

We also intent to make it impossible to just lie your way to the victory by ending the debate early and kicking you out if you authenticity drops under a certain threshold.  This will also be available tomorrow.

Very good, now I feel like I can start my own political career. Thanks for the localization.

jokes may be funny, but it is unclear how any answers to any topic affect the percentage of victory and votes. the annoying loud sound of text printing, which can not be removed in any way, but only to turn off the sound on the computer is also not very cool
you can't skip typing
Thanks for game!

So first of all the jokes there are incredible.

Second of all shame it gets stuck and cannot be finished.

Also if I pick a dialogue option I don't need my candidate to spell it slowly out for me. Its kinda annoying.

The language options are strange ->some things get translated but most don't. I don't think localisation is a goal when it comes to Jam games.

Also you picked a font with no support for czech diacritics which is one more thing why localisation was a bad idea.

Its not quite clear what is the goal. And also I couldn't tell at first that I am the first candidate.

Also randomly accusations begun appearing but had no effect.

Looks like you just didn't manage to finish it but I really like the idea. Good job fellow humans

We appreciate the comment! You can check out the fixed version here (it includes skipping monologue, volume manager and pause menu). The feedback you provided is very informative and we will try to incorporate it in the final release version! Thank you!

Love the idea! The attention to detail in conversations are nice :D
Too bad it is not finnishable, would love to play it to the end someday.
