Wow, what a concept very original and unique, the visuals fit with the game very well.
Great job! I really liked this game! 5 Stars
This game is fantastic! The controls are very tough to learn, but once you do it winds up being extremely fun! The art style is super cute while staying geometric, and the sound design is no slouch either!
My best score was 6742 ;)
Very creative concept and use of the theme! It's a bit hard to place shapes exactly where you want them, but I imagine that's a tough problem to solve when you're limited to WASD.
This game is super unique and creative! The controls are difficult to get a hold of, but mastering them is very fun! The rating system is cool, too! Good job!
Hey, thanks for checking out my game! You can control where you move by placing new shapes with WASD and enter, and then you can use WASD to change which shape is the centre of rotation - you can use this to move around. (I should have put some instructions in the game itself but ran out of time!)
A fun game...once you figure out the controls. The path has enough variation that it got challenging as I gained more speed, and there was an additional fun challenge of balancing the shape's rotation through tight corridors (thanks for adding that, before I figured that out I felt I had some cheap game overs without it). I agree with some of comments that the mouse would be a better way to place shapes, since I had some difficulty trying to place shapes using the keyboard but accidentally moving to another shape instead. Overall, gameplay was fun and it fits the theme, but the design could be better by having more precise input and explaining the controls in the game itself.
My highest score: 3615, A Rank!
fun use of the theme! The music was nice and the gameplay was fun, but the gameplay got a little repetitive over time
I got 5441 points let's goooooooo
very cool game! Loved the concept. Execution was fine. My only criticism is that the path doesn't have enough variation so it's pretty easy to get to S rating after you understand that the shapes can only go up.
But still, getting to S rating is nice
Loved this, well done, bravo
Thanks for playing my game! The ratings were actually a last-minute addition, but I'm glad I put them in.
The feedback about the difficulty is very appreciated, in retrospect it's probably the part of the game that most needed a bit if extra work
Awesome game!
I adore how you designed the level so that the more shapes we have on us, the faster we get to score. I also liked how we move with the momentum gained from the newly added pieces.
It was a beautiful experience. It also was good to see a fellow Godot Engine developer!
Great job!
Thank you for checking out my game, it's great to hear the positive feedback!
I only moved to Godot a couple of weeks ago (from working in Unity before), but I'm loving the change and won't be going back any time soon!
Cool concept! Controls were difficult at first. It could be easier if the mouse was used to place to polygon? Not sure if that'd defeat the purpose though. Regardless when I got used to the controls it was really fun!
Thanks for checking out my game! I like the idea of placing the shapes with the mouse, I'll have to test it out once the rating period is over
Very Cool Idea + i think the backround fits very good
Wow! Just Wow. This was amazing, the controls are very cool and unique and the gameplay is really fun! I can't believe you made this in 3 days. Its really fun to make little characters out of the shapes as you play and has a very unique concept, I love the music as well and teh ranking system is really cool!
Thank you! It's so good to hear that you enjoyed the game, and it's great to know it was worth implementing this. (Yesterday I was definitely wishing I was making something less unique!)
Absolutely fantastic! It takes some getting used to, but once you have it down the mechanics are actually very intuitive. I managed to get S rank first try! I can't imagine what a nightmare this must have been to code, incredible job!
Thanks for checking my game out! It's great to hear you enjoyed it, and congats on the score - I'm actually not sure I got a score that high at any point while I was testing the game! (Though a lot of the time I wanted to spend testing the game was actually spent frantically debugging it!)
I can imagine! The movement must have been so complicated. No idea how you did it lol but it works!
