Interesting game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the Giant ROM 3 games, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Thanks for playing my game!

@Warmonger aaaah! Sorry man. I had no idea that PS4 controllers used different inputs.

Damnit! Intro had me laughing, and I love the simple art style. Really wanted to play this, but didn't work on my PS4 controller!

Dialogue scroll was really neat, although at times it was hard to keep up. I wish I were able to control the scroll myself. For what I got out of it anyway, well done!

The intro being an auto scroll was the best way to do it. It's the first bit of writing in this jam that's had me actually burst out laughing.

Rest of the game is functional enough, but between "Kill Video Games" and that convo super glad I checked this out.

@jwang19 Actually, I didn't have a chance to bring it up, but the tank shells and minigun shells are tiny Jeff Bakalar heads. I call them "Bakullets". Unfortunately I couldn't make his face into a proper flame.

Pretty cool dual-joystick shooter!

I enjoyed the intro bit, it was a little fast and hard to follow but that sort of added to the text.

Nice job.

I like the game, it's a dual stick shooter themed around killing games. I laughed when I saw No Man's Sky on there.

That said, I would have preferred if there was a keyboard control option so that more people can play this game. Also I think you should have leaned more into it being Giant Bomb related and into the cyberpunk theme. Maybe instead of shooting bullets, it's hot garbage. And instead of driving a tank, it's an robo vinny.

@joystickhero yeah, that was the flaw that I've been thinking about all day today. It was late and I was sick and tired and I cranked it too easy (there's literally a variable that I put at 45, and the game would be twice as good if it was 25). I actually spent a couple hours getting the game to run well with 1200 games on screen, so it sucks that that will never happen unless you play for 20 minutes. It's easy to change but I feel guilty doing it mid-jam, though I'll probably fix it later. A minimap was one of my biggest cutting-room floor things, it is totally irritating not having it!

@MiniChimera Sorry about the controller not working. Controller stuff in Unity is way more complicated than I had time to understand in one week while doing everything else. You've motivated me to figure it out though, and thanks for playing :)

I killed No Man's Sky, the kerfuffe is over, shut it down!

Pretty cool, but I had problems turning the cannon, tried controller (PS4) and keyboard but ir would not rotate =(

Decent twin stick shooter, although in the later waves only wii spawners happen, and they are so easy to deal with that I had the entire screen clear regularly. Not sure how to balance that out.

As a side bar, having some indicator as to where the nearest off-screen spawner is would help quite a bit, if the difficulty level were increased.
