the art style is very nice! and the music fits the game! the dashing mechanic feels nice and polished!
The colliders on trees felt a little weird because if it's in top down view, i should be able to walk behind trees and such (but that doesn't have to be the case haha).

I saw info about git so mb it explains why menu looks so polished and great and game itself... not so much. Curious if game suppose to be the same quality because now it's like game and menu have done by different teams
all done by the same team. There was only 3 hours left before deadline when we had to restart from an old file. So pretty much all game mechanics, levels, animations had to be redone in that time. But i patched together what i could to showcase everyones efforts
So hope it'll no problems with version control next time, good luck!
So, as you said, it's not a complete game and needs a lot of work and polish. The ghost never shows up for me, the candy count resets with no game loop or win condition, music overlaps, there's infinite dashing, etc... Don't worry, just keep working on it and fix it up once the game jam finishes!
That said, the menu and character art are really well done! Kudos to the artist! Also, the menu music is actually really nice, I enjoyed it, very whimsical and entrancing! Kudos to the music artist also!

Animations could be a little bit more fluent but for 10 days it is pretty good.
In my game there was no ghost and when i collected all 15 Candys i got resetted to 0 and I couldnt do anything lol.
you can go through the cars in the right and left to go into the endless greenscreen.
All in all: Pretty good for 10 days. After some bugfixes it would be a great game :D
We appreciate the feedback. We sadly had a large chunk of loss work (during a github merge, it removed chunks of code, animations, lighting, with no revert/reset that worked to get back to previous version) on the very last day, so we bandaged everything we could together to get something submitted.
I am actually going back through and trying to restore the game back to what we currently had so if anyone wants to try a working version of the game that will hopefully soon be available! And no ghost was implemented, and nothing happens after candy was collected. :/
ah shit that sucks. I know the struggle on the last day xD
