The visuals are great, and the sound design is right on the spot. I would have liked to have a little introduction to the controls as well as to the objective, but it remains fun to play anyway :)

the game is fun to play,but some major polishing is really required:

- when enemies fall they should have some kind of fall animation 

- jumping on platforms is buggy and needs fixing

but a very well game overall

I liked the visuals but I thought the controls weren't smooth and the game wasn't intuitive.  Shooting up is not working properly. I liked how you managed to make the animations work properly. The UI was awesome too. Im going to give you  a plus because you used the same idea has me.

Would have liked to see some sort of info about your process or your skill level, or anything really about you or your game. The mechanics were a little rough. Couldn't actually finish the first level because I couldn't get the gate down. Overall, decent level design and I love Metroidvania games so that was a plus. The UI was very clean, just wish I had a chance to use it more.
