i have seen some similar games with this idea. But if i remember correctly none have done switching the comands on the move, great game, great musc, 4/5
Very clever concept. Was very confusing at first and took awhile to even start, but it got easier to do as the game progresses. Some levels can be done by just quickly removing and reinserting the commands (insert walk, remove when about to hit spike, jump+walk over spike, repeat) when needed which kind of feels like cheating the puzzle aspect a bit. Kinda weird platformer + puzzle game but it's a very nice game, albeit confusing at first.
Fantastic idea, would love to see you continue with this.
This is one of the best game jam games I've ever seen. Extremely well done. Loved the concept, execution, aesthetic, music, UI - everything. Fantastic job.
A well put-together game, with a tried and true theme. However, some of the puzzles require several steps to be taken in a short period, which can get frustrating. The only other problem I see had was a lack of volume slider, which is understandably low priority.
Easily the best game I've played so far. Insanely polished, with its own fitting music and sound effects. A novel idea and executed very well. The puzzles were fun to solve and it totally changed how I look at the world around me. I wish I could give 6 stars.
A really fun game that I would like to see more of. I think the floppy discs where fun but I wish that we either a. had more than one for commands like jump or b. be able to pause it/ have more time to swap them out as it's hard to make quick changes when both commands share a floppy
Some great ideas in this game! Early on I did become frustrated though - I think a reordering of puzzles and a bit more time bringing someone into the mechanics would help. For instance. as a programmer, I found it very unintuitive that while one action was happening (Jumping), I could do the else as well (walk)
I really enjoyed it. There were times when I got frustrated with having to quickly swap cartridges only to realize I was being silly and there was a far simpler solution. It was really satisfying to learn the game and feel like a true movie hacker when I was swapping out floppy disks all over the place to control my robot.
Great game! It has a ton more potential. It seems a shame to end it just as you get a new set of mechanics.
Kinda hard, but nonetheless amazing. I would pay for a complete game of this :3
Not like anything I've played before. Small scope but good polish given the time constraints. it is kind of a puzzle game or a platformer, depending on how you like to play it. Neat!
A puzzle game that has you making a bot play a platformer. Very cool
Wonderful idea and well made game.
Great concept, masterfully executed! I'm beyond impressed!
Really cool idea! I can see a game like this helping beginners how to code in a fun way. The disk-inserting mechanic could be a little bit improved, but otherwise it is really neat!
Great game dude! I have a lot of fun with the puzzle alike mechanics! Really unique :D
I like the game a lot. The (lack of mechanics) is really well done, making it a kind of puzzle game, but I can't see both the floppies and the platforming at the same time properly.
This is a really neat idea brought into the world by a really cool creator! 5 stars!
