Good looking game. The levels are not very interessting, though. Too easy and straightforward. I'd suggest adding something, some rule or something to make it more interesting, like limiting how often you can press space between boosts or maybe you leave a trail behind that does something.
About this game art and design - it's beeing placed here so everybody can see it. It is heavelly inspired on the art of the recently published Gato Roboto (by doinksoft) - that I've felt in love with. It was used due to two reasons:
1. I'm still learning pixel art so picking an solid art style was crucial due to time and knowledge limits - I can surelly say that this project helped a lot with it;
2. It did fit perfectly the style that I had on mind, besides beeing almost a perfect match with the other design choices on the game;
For the puzzles I came across several similar puzzles like playing games such as Runescape and even Pokemon (Gameboy & DS). It's a basic idea that personally I cannot find myself turning into a fully released game, but certainlly making as an easter egg or "arcade" side game on another proper game.
I took some time properly reading the kind comments bellow and I felt that I didn't managed to properly mentioned the inspirations for this project - wich is a big failure from my part as a designer in general - either by originally not mentioning wile posting this game or beeing unable to properly sending responses during the past few days.
By the way I utilized essentially 2 softwares developing this game. Aseprite (lovelly pixel art dedicated software) and Construct 2 (wich is a great engine for begginers and non programmers to learn coding logic or making basic demos for new projects).
On the following link you can find every sprite created for the game as well as every map.

Liked the game. Simple, but fun concept and good graphic part. Gj!
Nice game! Love the visual art style and I enjoyed the puzzles. Great work!
Simple idea that was well executed.
I loved this game! It's not entirely original, since I've seen lots of puzzle games like this around, but I loved the way you executed this, I liked how the ship fired as soon as your meter filled up, the levels were quite easy to complete, some of them were a bit of a challenge though! (Like getting stuck in open areas? was that intentional?) I love the design of the game and how simple the style is, and how much of a twist you made on this puzzle game! (- Amy)
Thank you very much! For the difficulty I actually had to put it down a bit due to some complications during development (Hitboxes and sprites working totally different on the engine), so I would say the actual getting stuck on open areas is more of a bug actually - more due to inexperience than anything else. ^^
Pretty cool game and original idea!
Very clever application of the theme and a charming art style, I think if you work on this going forwards there could be a lot done with this concept.
