Really cool, takes a minute to figure out the controls, as an earlier comment said, but once you've got it you get into a really nice rhythm. Nice job!
The controls are a little weird ,but one I've controlled them ,the game became very fluid , I really like it .
Well done !
I liked this! It felt very fluid once I started to master the controls.
Really nice job! I liked how simple it was, and the music/graphics were really nice looking. The only thing I didn't love was the camera, (seemed odd that it was always behind the player and didn't let you look too far ahead). Otherwise this was a solid game!
Pretty solid game! I think the controls are a bit weird but i got used to those very quickly. I also think there should be some sort of difficulty ramp as it just got boring going and going and nothing much happening.
Its pretty good overall!
I think it's quite neat ! It has very solid controls and it almost feels rythm-game like if there's a good sound track to go with.
Really good art and fun gameplay but the control scheme isn't that great.
I would love to see it as a mobile game!
Excellent polish on this one, with detailed sound and animation design. The gameplay is solid, and it's a clever take on the theme :)
Design 3/5 : I don't like the black background with just the text, it is too simple IMO. The assets and music look good tho.
Theme 5/5 : 1 directional is a nice fit into the theme
Originality 4/5 : seen before (in mobile games) but still not enough for me to duck more stars.
The controls were not really intuitives... The game looks good with cute art and nice music. I'll still say that it lacks smth like a cool move / combo, the slide was nice but it need to be more useful. I don't get why you have to use the moves to earn coins, but you can turn this into smth like a "reality show" were your style earns you money (for exemple).
Good job!
Great work, addicting game, smooth animations and fitting music. Feel the game would be better off without the sword as then you could strengthen the slide and jump mechanics to offer even more strategic ways of dealing with the enemies.
Your game is super addicting, nice job! Would be cool to see your score after you die
I love it <3
I would have liked to see some kind of score in the game over screen to see how far I've got.
Otherwise a solid entry, good job!
Great idea, and fun game. The control took long to get used to. Maybe adding the arrow key to move forward in addition to what you have? Found I was never using the dash forward, and just the jump button to clear obstacles (to avoid myself from being confused about which buttons to press by having one less button to think about).
Overall fun game. Wish there was a way to defeat that monster rushing the player to move forward, but also have a new one spawn in place of it. Maybe a bomb ( that never moves from its tile) that is triggered on attacking it, then detonates on auto-timer -- so player has to time the hit/explosion? Excellent work!
Cool idea, really. I would like to see this as a full game.
Stay crunchy.
