GMTK Game Jam 2019

I really enjoyed the music and atmosphere. Gameplay has some issues. It would be nice to have an arrow showing the rotation direction of the shield. Also some particle effects for bullets and taking damage because sometimes its not clear if you are hit or not.

Nice job, a little hard but good idea, I really like that when you touch space again the shield changes directions, those are the details that make a good design.

I think the shield doesn't move fast enough, when an enemy is at the opposite of the shield there is not much you can do. But i like the concept!

Thanks for playing! We are looking at increasing the speed or size of the shield to help the balance.

Big fan! I like how easy it is to play and the one button idea is a great one (I actually used the only spacebar thing too ahaha). The shields spin direction swapping each time i pressed the button threw me off a little. However it would have felt restrictive if the shield only moved in one direction so its likely the better of two evils.
