Pretty simple, but effective. I agree, as someone else said, I think this would make a nice mobile game, if you could out the controls. Nice work!
Extremely satisfying to kill the zombie dudes. The screen shake is really good, and the controls are super responsive. A very good take on the theme.

Ugh thats weird. Its javascript error so the problem is probably on godot side. You can try this standalone version if you want. Cant add it to the game page because uploads are disabled.

Simple and fun. I liked it. Very satisfying to get that perfect throw where you hit a couple enemies and the axe bounces right back to you.
Great game! throwing and returning the axe is really satisfying and feels nice. This game does a lot with very little space. Difficulty increases nicely. Graphics looks crisp and nice.
Spinning your character when throwing the axe is a way better way than just point-and-shoot. Returning the axe lets you do wicked combos - a combo counter/bonus would be nice!
Glad you noticed that hidden combo system. I didn't have time to tweak it properly so it has some issues
