visual plays an important role in the game..the game play was also good ….nice game with nice background music, I liked that.
Thank you!
The music really added to the theme of the game itself. I bookmarked it and i'm playing again later.
Thank you!
The visuals look good and it's simple to understand. I did find a visual glitch where the torch got stuck at an angle and the torch key frames were stuck in position. Clicking the mouse still lit the fire which then popped up in the correct place but the other visual was still frozen. This persisted even after dying an respawning.
Hi there, thank you very much for playing and for mentioning this bug. We are aware of this, and some other bugs but unfortunately didn't have the time left to address them. Thanks!
Great game. Just feel like playing dark souls 2d and getting beloved bonfire. The only drawback is relaxing music that in my opinion doesn't fit here.
Thank you for playing and for your feedback!
Great job. I like the atmosphere and relaxing music.
Thank you!
Rest at bonfire intensifies...
In all seriousness, This is quite a good game. Somewhat relaxing, yet engaging.
Thank you for playing!
Great stuff. We did one light too but your ideas were much better :)
Like you replied to someone else, it'd be nice to have some more ... dunno, clues or something (weenies / affordances / etc) to help you. As it is, it feels like purely a maze ... which we were going to do but worried wouldn't be fun enough (we didn't have your tension components which make it much more fun!). Great job!
The pathing is indeed really off. We actually made a couple of floor tiles where you could see some stones to help guide you. But unfortunately ran out of time to implement. Thank you for playing and the feedback!
A usual day of a person who lights bonefires in Dark Souls games.
Hahaha indeed. It sure was an inspiration ;)
The idea is great and the look is so too, but you mostly just wander around without a plan. Or at least I did so XD
Thank you for playing!
I enjoyed it, though I think it got a little boring wandering around aimlessly after a time. I didn't finish. I think a clearer sense of progression would have helped; I was never sure if I was even searching the right end of the dungeon.
Thank you for playing! The pathing and progression is indeed a thing that we wanted to make better.
Awesome, it's good to hear you understood your game. Its impossible to make a perfect game, after all. Its good you knew what you could have improved on.
Very very nice atmosphere; the core light mechanic is well thought-out and the fact that it slowly decrease is really cool! I only got lost like an idiot because I wasn't able to tell the check point apart...
Thank you for playing!
Overall, I don't really know what to say about this game. The artwork is impressive and the music is super cool. I, as a Belgian however, have one major issue with this. Namely: not being able to change the controls. Our keyboard layout is messed up when it comes to WASD controls. I am also a little hesitant about 'adherence to the theme'. Overall though, this is a very cool game.
Thank you for the feedback! We'll be sure to keep the controls in mind for next time.
Woah, that animation and art was super impressive! Dang good job! I really liked the monsters that attacked, but when the fire was extinguished, I kind of wish they killed you faster. Otherwise awesome stuff!
Thank you!
