I think this just needed a bit more tweaking with the level design to be a truly fantastic game. I really liked it though.

Really good game ! Little and simple, but very smooth.

I think that warn the player of the next keys could be a good idea in some levels. Not sure, but you could try.

That was quite enjoyable. Each level was a fun little puzzle.

IJKL and space bar was inconvenient but besides that, I like it.

Developer

Yep, it was meant to be inconvinient but I heard some people really had trouble with it. Maybe accessibility is something I should think about more next time. Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it :)

best controller switch game ive played so far, clever level design, great polish and feel, amazing sound, you should be very proud of this one

Thanks a lot <3 I tried to make sure the game would be well polished. I can see that it maybe falls behind on the graphics that are very simple but atleast they are clear and not distracting in my opinion. Again, thanks for the positive feedback :)

If you like games witch switching controls,  you can check out the game I was working on before the game jam. It's a platformer where the controls randomize each level.

Great game! I really liked the puzzle aspect of it. Not randomizing the key bindings when an enemy is killed allows for fun repeatable puzzles that can be learned.

Developer

Yep, I wanted them random at first but it turned out that having them pre-made allowed for much better level design and some puzzles too.

Pretty simple ideia and really fun!

I think I might have triggered a bug in the 'D+left click only' level, because I cleared the last enemy and died at the same time. so the level reloaded but everything moved super slowly. A really fun concept overall! I had fun puzzling everything out!

Developer

Wow.. Im not gonna lie.. I have no idea how you managed to do that :D.. you must have hit the one frame where the invincibility gets disabled but the scene didnt load yet or something..  I really don't know :D.. Glad you enjoyed it tho

Hey, pretty neat.  You got a decent amount of mileage out of this idea -- limiting vertical movement, limiting movement to only one direction, not being able to move at all.    I enjoyed pressing F to pay respects as well.  You could even do more puzzle-y levels with some of those mechanics, and I think it would be neat to see this idea pushed even further in terms of creative control types, though I'm not sure in what way exactly.

I liked the design decision to show the rules clearly at the top of the screen, and the slowdown that occurs when the rules change.  That way, despite all of the chaos of the rules, the player is not totally lost and confused.

Developer

Thanks :) Glad you enjoyed the F. I was trying to find a balance between action and puzzles but the game could go either way. About taking the controls a step further: I was thinking about making levels where you would plug-in controller and the controls would switch between the keyboard and controller and between different presets as well. Unfortunately I didnt have enought time to implement that and also not everyone has a controller :/ Thanks for the feedback, I'll make sure to check out your game as well.
