Very relaxing game of minesweeper.  Best I could do was 4 levels in a day with some hits to make things go faster on 50%'s. Earth Sense was a godsend to get started.

Encountered a small bug when I accidentally marked a number tile as a bomb and the number just disappears.  Made determining the board a fair bit harder.

I liked the RPG mechanics applied to a simple game like minesweeper. I'm not quite sure how this fits the theme, but I enjoyed the game regardless.

That was very relaxing, especially after all the chaotic submissions I've been playing

One thing I would recommend improving, is making it so that the first click is never a bomb, that way you can start to get oriented without being forced to take damage from bad luck

What I'm thinking of is changing how shield works, so that it blocks one bad move.  I could combine that change with giving the player a shield charge from the start to prevent that.  Because yes, that always has sucked in Minesweeper where you lost on your first click.

Quite ambitious for a 48-hour game jam and the result is really enjoyable! Congrats

Glad you enjoyed it :)  I was a bit concerned about trying to create minesweeper in 48 hours given that I've never done that, but it went quite well.
