How does your game fit the theme?
bullets stay in the world forever, so the more bullets you fire the more you have to dodge; it quickly gets out of control

Not bad. Had a few problems finding my way with the controls. And then the bullet-hell I made.

A nice little game! The idea is pretty good. If you added some sort of unidirectional shield to reflect the projectiles you’d have a really nice Asteroids / Arkanoid combo game.

I’ve managed to stay alive for a long time by only firing a single bullet. After a while it became a bit boring trying to evade the rocks and one bullet, so I fired a whole bunch more times. Within a few seconds the game became a bullet hell of my own making. It was pretty nice, trying to use the asteroids as cover (for the few seconds they were still around). Turned out it is much easier than it looks, as the bullet swarm destroyed most of the rocks pretty quickly and I could finish the game by getting rid of any stragglers.

It may lack polish, but it is a good jam game. I liked it. ;)

Haha, the execution's pretty raw but I kind of fell in love with the concept. A unidirectional shield would be an awesome power up if this game was expanded, that's a great idea!

Thank you! I know it's a bit undercooked, but I figured a prototype of a game is better than no game at all. :)

I played without shooting at all (didn't know, oups), what is the purpose of shooting?

Developer

You're right, I didn't communicate the gameplay very well.

Not half bad, could have used more of driving force for what I was doing. But great work for only a few hours.

Developer

I did try to tune the speed of the ship to be as fair as possible, but some issues cropped up. Bullets slower than the ship means a moving ship firing bullets collides with them right away. Haha.

So unfortunately, I had to run with bullets with 'unfair' speeds.

Thank you!

Really great idea! With a little more polish this could very much be an addicting game.

Developer

Could definitely use some more polish, agreed. Thank you!

Super fun game, the fact that you're own bullets can turn against you and turns the game into a bullet hell is really good, i would love to see this idea pushed further :)

Developer

Thank you!

It was an ok game I liked it but some sort of score or progress wouldve been nice.

Developer

Agreed. Haha. It's pretty raw.
