I really like the concept (actually had the same idea at first), but I have a bit of problems:
It feels very satisfying at first, but gets very unsatisfying when you have to clean that one spot you just cant get to due to the unresponsive controls. Just make the bar fill a little bit faster. And I dont no if you're new to game dev, but please also work on performance. I couldnt play it in the browser and even the downloadable version lagged, maybe thats why the controls were so unresponsive. But otherwise, very good.
I manage to get to the end, the sound are really good, the controlls feels very responsive.
I really enjoyed this game. The graphics are very appealing and the gameplay keeps your interest quite well.
I didn't play through very much, because the first levels felt pretty boring, as I was just cutting grass, and trying to find the two blades I missed, but reading the other reviews, it gets more fun, so nice job! My game is here https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/697413 feel free to rat
Super satisfying
that's some fast growing grass. For some reason I really enjoyed this. well done
Surprisingly addictive, super satisfying
Nice game (i had a similar idea, just that in my game the lawn mower is out of control) and neat graphics. I think, it takes a little bit to long to finish a level, but maybe that's just because i'm not used to the controls/ the way the lawn mower moves.
At first I didn't see the theme, but in the later levels the lawn really is out of control!! Controls are on point and the low-poly graphic really fits this game. Well done!!
