How does your game fit the theme?
A side scrolling shoot 'em up where the player isn't in control of the ship! You take on the role of the engineer keeping the ship from blowing up while the captain flies.

Feels really hectic, but the lack of control over ship movement makes me think if it can really dodge the asteroids. Nice graphics and sfx.
This game is really fun, and surprisingly easy to understand considering how much information is thrown at the player! I had a great time with this one. And of course, I certainly appreciate using the GMTK Game Jam pixel splash screen I made.
And many thanks for it! Glad you played and enjoyed! <3
Really fun! Managing all the aspects and having to dart my eyes around the screen was certainly out of control in a really fun way. I loved having too try to balance the oxygen and fuel, deciding which one to do first and second.
Love the art style, love the pallete, and the music is really good too!
The controls seem to be funky sometimes. I was confused at first because I couldn't make the how to page move, the arrow keys weren't working until I went in a second time.
I honestly found mission 2 to be WAY harder than mission 1, felt like the time was just a tad too long.
And there seems to be an unused machine? I wonder what it was for.
I had accidentally left that machine in and had already uploaded! TBH I had no idea what to do with it, at some point I think I had the idea to use it as a screen clearer at the cost of some shield but at the 47th hour, it was not getting implemented XD I think what might have happened was the mouse was on screen, the mouse can also navigate the menu. Perhaps it would be cleaner if only the arrow keys move the menu? It is something to consider! Thank you for playing!
Lovely graphics! I included it in my GMTK Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
OHHH MY GODD THANKS FOR PLAYING <3
I liked it! Fun doing the role of the engineer. Curse the captain. I need a button that #@$#@ like in overcooked.
I was almost about to avoid it cause of the many vehicles out of control games. But I'm glad I didnt.
So glad you liked it! My girlfriend also told me I basically made a stripped down overcooked in space and that wildly amuses me.
Great music and art!
Fantastic, original concept! I really like the art style and overall feel of the game.
Amazing presentation. Definitely felt a bit panicked while trying to keep the engine from blowing up. Well done!
Aw thanks! Was so fun to make! I see you also joined the jam, definitely will try yours too!
