I liked the design of the character and was nice that you added a timer of when the gavity would shift. Despite being pretty intuitive, the game would benefit of some instructions. Also, I would recommend you to add more friction on the characters movement, show more of the room (otherwise, in some cases it could fell as a cheap way to get killed), and, above all, I would make the gravity shift go faster to increase the pace (additional tip: pages really benefit from good demo material and descriptions). In any case, good job, mate. Hope you can check and rate mine aswell
Have a great week :)
What I didn't like:
The gravity shifts are more annoying than anything. It killed me several times and I spent most of my time just waiting for gravity to flip again. I only realized there was a timer at the top of the screen after beating the game since it was cut off on the screen (Unity browser builds are notoriously glitchy). This is a situation where I think extra polish would help, e.g. a big ticking clock with a ticking sound effect, etc.
The boxes seemed kind of superfluous, but I know that's just how game jams go.
What I liked:
The music was impressive. The graphics are serviceable too, especially minding that it's not pixel art. Overall for a two-person game this is decently produced!
[Spoilers] I really liked that there were little secret paths and a shortcut in the level! Adds some extra layers to it. Having control over gravity as a post-game power is nice.
Pretty cool game! As someone already mentioned, it's rather boring when you have to wait until the timer counts down, making it pretty slow until you get the blue triangle. It has good potential, though!
Interesting concept. How'd you make the music? it almost sounds like it was AI generated, which would be pretty neat!
My brother was in charge of the sound design and he tried to make it sound out of control
The idea isn't bad, the only thing wrong with it is that switching gravity is required to get past certain parts, so for those parts you're just stuck waiting. I got to a blue triangle in the end of a hallway but couldn't do anything to it, so I assume that's the end?
Once you get the blue triangle you can change the gravity by clicking shift I couldn't get text saying that to show up
I just collided with it. Do I have to press something to collect it?
No, it should happen automatically
Weirddd, I'll try again later.
Nicely done! Loved when I knocked down the blocks on the ceiling and then they followed me to the ground.
Glad you liked it
