Nice art, I loved the "lore" about pizza!

I agree with the feedback in other comments about gamplay. In addition, I would have preferred more focus on spaceship's problems to fix in order to fit more the jam's theme and to make the game different from other sidescrollers shooters.

This game's got some of cool ideas! I feel that a more serious loss of control or some sort of more extreme visual/audio cue would help the ship seem more out of control than it feels, but the mechanics of the weapons constantly changing and needing to constantly repair your dampeners and shields to stay alive are both solid concepts. The conflict between the two intergalactic restaurants was also a neat story concept, though I wasn't a huge fan of the writing, heh. Also, for a jam game, I think you could've afforded to make it a bit shorter and have more variety in that shorter time frame to make it more consistently fun. Still, the art and sounds are great, and overall I think it's got a lot of potential. Good work!

I couldn't finish this game, but I did enjoy my time with it. The jokes are generally not my thing, but the 48 hour joke was absolutely hilarious. This game, presentationally, is pretty solid. I think impact feels super weak, perhaps some more sfx and screenshake/visual effects would have made the core game feel more solid. Additioanlly, you don't have the enemy or gameplay variety to sustain the length of your game. This could have been better if it was shorter and more polished imo. The main mechanic with the dampener was pretty clever, it gave me something else to juggle on top of the shooter gameplay, and I think more effects could ahve sold that even more. Overall, quite good!
