very cool idea. i love that its basically golf with AI, thats unique to this game, none of the other "indirect control platformers" have that feature.

the ai is bit difficult to guide, and it always wants to run off the edge. if you fine tuned the AI and made more levels (esp in sets of 18) then this could be a really cool game.

itd be great for playing on the phone when youre bored

Thanks for the feedback! I got it running on my phone the other day (my idea was always to make it a mobile game). I don’t know how I didn’t think of doing levels in groups of 18 like golf but that’s a great idea.

I have plans to make the AI better, right now it’s literally just randomly moving. I plan on adding ledge detection and stuff, possibly making the AI’s line of sight larger.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah more levels would have been great. My first 48 hour game jam. 48 hours sounds like a lot of time. I could do a lot in a 40 hour week. But I gotta sleep lol!

Hello! this was a very nice game to play. The AI for the little guy felt nice personally. Yes, the little dude moving away sometimes is out of control, maybe there are other ways to make it more out of control. Perhaps having the platforms more slippery, like ice! Overall congrats on completing it under 48 hours. (I see you submitted it literally 3 mins before the deadline. *visible sweating*). I'll play this game after you update it again. Definitely lots of ways to expand. Good work!

Here's one: Since you are using coins to attract him, the amount of coins left would be how much you have to spend on power-ups (if you make a shop) which will automatically prompt the player to spend wisely.

Thanks so much for the feedback! Making platforms slippery and having the remaining coins be used to purchase power ups are great ideas! I’ll definitely look into that when I get back to working on this.

I was cutting it close with this one. The welcome pop-up that displays the “par” for the level and the UI that displays coins used + par at the top was all done in the last 20 minutes of the jam.

the audio if using earphones will be heard on the left only. when started it will move already

Developer

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll look into the audio issues as I continue to work on this.

Felt like the aura was a little to small, it was kind of hard to influence. The audio seem to cut out at some point.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I can easily adjust the aura size. And the audio cutting out might be because I forgot to click “loop”. 48 hours is less time than I thought lol. I plan to keep working on this though.
