I would say this is a very interesting concept but if you want to take this a little further there are a few things I would change.

For one, don't use the shift keys or the control keys because I find myself accidentally turning on the filter keys or pressing Ctrl + S.

I would also say limit the options for keys to as few buttons as possible, you don't have to use all the buttons on the keyboard.

Thanks for playing and giving feedback.

You are right, command type keys should have never been included. As for the other keys, they are currently set in 'fields' for example rotating left is randomly controlled by only these 6 keys: Q, W, E, A, S, D. which are all in the same area on a QWERTY keyboard. This may still be too many.

At first. ALL of the keys were randomized indiscriminately and it was a MESS!

The game idea is very interesting. My first playthrough I found the game very difficult. Then I learned and started to understand the mechanic. The only problem is that I didn't feel the necessity to use the other towers, I just kept shooting with central shot. Overall I enjoyed!

I think that overall the game moves too fast for the controls, which would be very fun if the learning curve was a bit longer! Overall definitely interesting and worth a play! Good work.

Developer

I agree with you. I had a whole tutorial planned out on paper. No way would I have had time to implement that.

Thanks for playing and giving feedback!

A cool concept well executed, enjoyed it a lot.

The game would probably benefit from a more zoomed out view or a small heads up warning where enemies will appear so the player has more time to make up a plan and adjust to the controls.

Developer

One feature that I really wanted to implement was a warning the moment before the controls change with a preview of the new keys coming up.

Thanks for the feedback and playing my game!

Hello

Well then was some original idea, I like that. It was a challenge to focus on changing keys and shoot at the same time and I like that challenge!

Have to warn other players to play it on fullscreen since some keys cause browser to switch focus out of the game, so I had to use the mouse to focus again.

Developer

Thanks, I will. It was even worse before I removed the Alt keys! I should probably remove all of the 'command' type keys entirely.

cool kinda td game haha consider making control buttons maybe pop up bigger somewhere. Hard to concentrate on the image of the keyboard and the enemies at the same time

Developer

That's what I was going for!

Thanks for the feedback and playing my game.
