Fun concept! My highest score was 240! I wish there was an indication of when your keys will switch around, because it kind of happens suddenly. Other than that, good job!

Developer

Thankyou for the feedback, will try include some sort of indication in the update we release :)

Developer

Working on an update which we will release after the GMTK ratings have finished. Will be monitoring these comments for ideas on what sort of changes would be good to include in that update.

This was a well executed idea, I really enjoyed trying to get all the gems. It would've been nice if there was a clearer way to see what the keys changed to on the character, though, it was a little rough darting back and forth between the characters and the keys. Still, good implementation of theme, and good work overall!

Developer

Thankyou, glad you got enjoyment out of it.

Hey, I played your game on my stream and the VOD is here if you're interested in watching:

https://www.twitch.tv/videos/679039194

Unfortunately I only made it to level 3-- as I say in the video I think the concept is really neat but the game could use some check points ;)

Developer

Thankyou for giving it such a long go, was enjoyable to see the video you made on our game. I do think that checkpointing each level would have made the game a bit more enjoyable in terms of feeling a sense of progression as well as making it a bit easier.

Thankyou for the feedback :)

This is so annoying to play, but it's clearly intentional and is the source of the game's fun, so it works well. If you wanted to mitigate the frustration, you could make it less hardcore and let the player go back to the start of the most recent level after death, but that all depends on just how frustrating you want it.

Developer

We already planning on scaling down the difficulty, as a lot more people are struggling then our 6am minds were expecting.

Will have to update after the jam finishes though unfortunately, but thankyou for the feedback, hope you enjoyed part of it.

Argh this game is so annoying to play >:D

I love the idea haha, and I thought the execution was really great. Super clean art (especially the menu screen, nice!!) and solid level design.

I couldn't will myself to continue playing because I'd lose my sanity BUT I thought this was really a great game. Nice job!

Through our playtests we found most people get stuck on the third level (difficulty spikes quite a bit).

Thankyou for playing, glad you got some enjoyment :)

I figured others would also do the random "WASD" thing xD

This was a nice twist tho

Here's our take on it :3
