Great game, really fun to play :)

Very nice concept.

A very cool game that forces you to think outside the box when some controls start to fail. I haven't actually managed to beat it yet, but I think I will get back to it when I am more rested. I admit that I've probably only even got this far because the control scheme is similar to my own game (it's not as pretty as yours, however). :D

I liked the flipping the ship for manuvering when you lost control, it was a clear way of showing instead of telling :)

Nice work! I'm amazed at what people can accomplish in 48 hours.

The mini map on the side was a nice touch! Great work :)

I found it very challenging, but fun. Great game!

Great work! I really liked it

Good Job! the core mechanics are nicely implemented and fit the theme well! It did feel a bit empty at times with the lack background music, but overall it was really good!

Nice! I kinda just died immediately once I started losing controls(although that was mostly due to lack of skill). but still it was pretty fun! Good job!

Really like the amount of different ways to control the ship, really makes you get creative by the end. Absolutely recommend it!

I enjoyed the how difficult the controls of the ship are, really adds to the "Out of Control" feel.

It feels really good to learn how to control the ship.

And then it feels really challenging when i have to relearn after my options get limited.

Really cool design and the visuals and sound are top notch!

I really liked the level design. The difficulty scales just right!

really liked this one. took me a minute to get the hang of the controls but once you do, you're flying! a well put together concept

I like the game! It feels like I would expect a ship that's out of my control to feel. If you continue this, I would add some kind of use for the bullets other than recoil, but great game! Here's my game https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/697413 tell me what you think :)

I really liked this, it was a lot of fun, but perhaps a little too challenging at the start. I think a little more on the presentation side would have been nice, something in the background maybe?  Overall great job!

I love this game, presentation's great, sounds are on point and controls just like I think a computerless ship should control. What's the point of the shooting? I havent gotten that far in

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for the feedback.

The bullets themselves don't really do anything, but shooting them generates recoil, which might be necessary for movement when most other options aren't available anymore.

Cool Idea with the components and the ability to rotate the ship. It makes for a real pro gamer moments. Game hard to play but personaly I like hard games. Could do with some music but that's something to consider doing for the future :) Good work

Very interesting graphics and audio here! Personally, (very personally) although the gameplay was great, I think you could have added more twists and features to be more creative! Overall, this is a great effort, well done!
