Nice job! Managed to get it working and the graphics were very interesting and the gameplay was very fun! :D
Went through the trouble of getting it to work, only to find it's still pretty rough. I wanted to like it, it's clear that lots of effort went into it from the graphics, but I couldn't do anything and just died repeatedly a couple of seconds after starting, even if the enemies didn't get to me. I guess you're supposed to protect something in the level, but it's over so fast that you can't really tell what you're supposed to do. None of the colour buttons seemed to do anything when clicked either.
Managed to get the game running by building an empty project in unity, and transfering that dll to the download folder - It's just unityengine files after all (as far as I know), while the source code is contained within the download. For those who want to do the same without an instant error on startup, you can either take the dll out of any unity game that's built in version 2019.4.3 with x86_64 architecture, or plop this file into the game folder: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Xi12QyrMOywmmQ_kc32EDJwsLxwjeuV_/view
Managed to open the game - just grab a copy of UnityPlayer.dll from another game or from your Unity install folder. Unfortunately the game is pretty rough. The biggest problem is that the controls are very unintuitive. If you want players to have both hands on the keyboard (pressing WASD and OP), then you can't also expect them to use the mouse (to change colours). Constantly switching between keyboard and mouse is frustrating.
I think the idea of having to manage different resources to fight different types of enemies could work - but with the mechanics being very simple, the game has to rely on everything else feeling really good! For example with some proper animations, audio, better controls, camera shake, and more intuitively teaching the player what they're supposed to do.
It looks so good from the cover - it's such a shame we can't play it. Tough luck man ):
Too bad I can't open the game...
Same Same, an error pops up, I would love to play the game :D
Same, an error pops up, UnityPlayer.dll is missing. :( Seems like a good game tho.
UnityPlayer.dll is missing from the game files... Shame it looks really good from the cover
