I like the reverse Breakout mechanic! You could definitely experiment with the size of the ball changing over time in a post-jam version. Really solid game!
The central premise is classic.
I feel like there are trade-offs between the speed/size of the ball and the player speed which may help the pace of the game to feel more out of control. I like the articulation on the player controlled guy though I ultimately didn't do much with it. As with others, I found it was possible to clear the screen by hiding behind the blocks.
This is a nice game that puts your dodging skills to the test. The premise is simple, but fun. My only issue with it is the lack of collisions between the player and the colored blocks. For most of the level, you can just hide behind them and eliminate any challenge, but given the time constraints, it's perfectly understandable. Good game!
