I did not quite get what character change does, but liked house destruction mechanic a lot!

I broke character select when I added the tutorial right before the end of the jam, but glad you liked it!

Oh, that is so typical. We also broke a couple of our characters in the last hour :)

What would be the difference between characters here?

Nothing, just the color, and you save the four characters that weren't chosen. I considered adding different stats but didn't get around to it.

Fun game! I really liked the fire spread effect, it sold the entire game. I did feel a panic when I saw the number start to rise and someone shouting "help" from somewhere. The particle effects on the fire were a very nice touch and the destructibility felt believable.

One thing you could do to improve would be to put the health as a bar above the player similar to the water bar. I didn't notice I had hearts until near the end of my play through. You could also try merging the health bar and water bar into some nice duel purpose design and make the player choose between getting more water or trying to push forward and possibly being caught in the fire.

Overall fun game and super underrated for the jam!

Very cool! The fire spreading feels very believable. You get it under control at one place and it escalates somewehere else. Nice idea and the implementation works very well!

...and of course the title is very nice, indeed!

Hey, nice job! Its was a pretty difficult to control the character when i used the water to boost the jump and i got lost for a while in the level, but you did a great job with the flame system and the idea of impulse yourself with the water gun was prety fun :)

Pretty cool game! I managed to rescue 4 friends. Is there more? Sometimes I thought that it was too much out of control but then I learned how to navigate better with the water gun. Really nice idea to move with it. The fires are random or there some more logical system to spread one fire to another? Oh, another thing, the character selection doesn't work :(

Thanks for playing! There are only 4 friends. The fires occasionally shoot out a spark which creates a new fire nearby. And yeah I messed up the character select right at the end of the jam when I added the How To Play screen. I noticed right after but it was too late.
