How does your game fit the theme?
Our game fits the theme in two ways. First, the core mechanic of the game is that enemies take reduce your ability to control the character when they attack you. Second, the main character is attempting to escape from a psych ward, because they feel controlled and contained.

the game was pretty laggy for me, but I mean I'm on  my laptop and it's an unreal engine game... a darker environnement and more post processing would probably have helped to make a more intriguing atmosphere

I seem to be missing something, I just see empty rooms and fall into the void all the time.

Thanks for the feedback! The game isn't fully complete yet. This was out first jam and we wanted to submit what we had accomplished so far. We plan on releasing a fuller version over the next few weeks.

Feel free to send me a message when it's done, so I can play it again!

Maybe something isn't working right: for me the game is a random generated map with a few rooms, maybe one enemy and some doors leading into the abyss... Nevertheless, it's very atmospheric. Maybe less light would have made it even... darker?

We appreciate the feedback. With the time constraints and it being our first jam some aspects weren't able to make it in before the deadline. Within the next few weeks we plan on implementing a better path finding system and working on lighting for sure.

It's cool to see 3D games here, but be careful with the optimization, the game performs poorly even with a good hardware PC, the idea looks very cool, but clearly there were a lot of elements that could add a LOT to the project! A main menu, a tutorial (even if the commands are just walking), a pause menu (I admit that we also forgot this in our project) and a little guidance, I didn't quite understand what I had to do, the only way out, me led into the darkness. Good job!

Great feedback! These are definitely on our to do lists as this was our first jam and we'd like to see a project we truly envisioned. With the deadline we submitted what we we're able to accomplish. I will definitely be checking out your game!

Thank you! But it happens, welcome to your first jam! It was also our first participation!

Nice storyline, can get sad and funny, very nice!! The graphics were good but quite laggy on my low end pc. May I recommend you to work on 2d web games on the future, since it appeals to a wider audience in a jam?

We appreciate the feedback, optimization is something optimization is at the top of our list on the next version rolling out. Our team consists of 4 3D artists. We love 2D games and the discussion was definitely brought up, if we have the same team next year with another yea's experience under or belts of game dev, hopefully we can release a 3D game that truely stands out!

Really cool visuals make this one feel emotional, and the gameplay is very interesting.
