I really like the jing and jang vibe and how you animated the separation of the characters!

I just would have loved to start in an easier level because for me personally it was a bit tricky to understand the controls and where I needed to go in the short amount of time given in the first level.

Developer

Thanks :D
Best animation I ever made in my life :D
Hmm, really? Thanks for the feedback, I guess a better start would've been only a single color wall. THanks for the feedback

Nice job! I really like how the colors invert as the black and white balance bar decreases.

Developer

:D Thanks, glad you liked it! A fairly simple shader but worked like a charm

Very cool idea! Liked the splitting animation!

Developer

:D glad to hear. Definitely best animation I ever made xDD

I like the idea. I enjoyed the platforming puzzle a lot. There wasnt any ending right? just going in circle? Very on point with the yin/yang motive. Very cool.  Good idea to make the time you can spend separately limited. Nice and stressful to take away sight xD
I had a little trouble to figure out how to switch from white to black. "press Tab/Enum 0 to split up" was not helpful when the other instruction said "press E/Enum 0 to split up" xD The rest of the "tutorial" appears on screen when i already had to figure it out myself after getting that far xD
There was a weird screen glitch when i moved at first. And the loading bar when i pressed "q" was irregular i feel.

Developer

That's right, no end :D you just come back in a loop to where you started, only end is if you run out of energy

Oh dang did I really say "tab" to split up and not 'switch control' in text? my apologies Q_Q

the progress bar on the teleport was set to have max value 2 (2 seconds)  but i changed the teleport timer to be 1 second at the very end so the bar always showed up half full and drain to empty lol
this is probably what you meant with it xD

Interesting concept. Liked how color shifted to gray in the midpoint. I was however confused finding the buttons and I did not full understand when both halfs merge back together.

Developer

The merging together was simply distance based.
When you split, you would have to leave a certain area before you can merge, but after leaving it, coming back as soon as you were close to one another you'd merge back. I guess a better solution would make it a button press with a prompt to make it easier? I thought of it but didn't have time to add it.

Game gets stuck in a loop for the restart option, does not work afterwards

Developer

yeah.... that didn't happen during testing. Must've broken something in the final stages... RIP, thanks for noticing
