The art is amazing, sadly, the emotions don't seem to activate when used, I can't seem to get past the first level because of it

Thanks for your comment, I really love the art our graphs did too!
It's strange that the emotions does not work for you. I'm looking into it, but it works on my tests. Maybe you have the impression it does not work because:
- to activate an emotion you need to have your spirits in a specific position (shown by the scheme), and then the card with the emotion is brighter
- we didn't have the time to put a visual feedback on the map when the emotion is activated, so it may give the impression it has no effect, especially when it does not hit an ennemy
- the ennemies have several hps, so when they are hitten they do not dissapear. There is a yellow symbol that represents their hps that change, but it is quite subtle
