The art is good. The interaction puzzle plus the in between running minigame could use more work to this, since players can lose interests when the minigame comes.

The controls on the flappy-bird-style minigame weren’t my cup of tea, and there wasn’t much in the way of well executed story of the like? There was a lot of art/animation on display, which was kinda cool, but the gameplay felt too punishing for my tastes.

A little bizarre. But I enjoyed playng it.

I really loved the inclusion of mini games and the overall idea is hilarious. Also, the music is just awesome. Great job!

The art in this is really clean, and I really like the concept. The scuba minigame could use a bit of work, as there are definitely times where it felt a bit unfair due to the invisible ceiling and how little you can really see ahead of you. The poison bottle minigame, however, is really cool and probably my favorite part of the game- very creative and fun. Overall, I liked it a lot!

P.S. not that I'm biased or anything but I really like your game's name!

One of our artist also mentioned that the diving game was a bit unintuitive,  but as the programmer of course I ignored it since I knew all the obstacle placements from heart :P

I this this is an interesting concept for a game. I really struggled with the swimming section between the invisible ceiling and the somewhat unintuitive collision. Also, I found the final minigame to be impossible due to being colorblind, so that wasn't fun. But I really liked the idea behind it, and I liked the art style.

The last minigame was an especially interesting concept but you only get one shot at it! Overall I like the minigames but some tweaks to make them more fair would go a long way, like having the wife swim on the left of the screen so you have time to react. I would say you could spend less time on the interactive cutscenes, but that's clearly where a large part of this game's personality comes from. Definitely a unique entry, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the feedback! The cutscene parts were originally supposed to have some challenge to them, but we decided to prioritize getting all the scenes in a playable state.

Really liked the unexpectedness.

what an unexpected game haha! nice that there is actually multiple games in one! a bit stange but fun though (also dying in the water usually changes the sprites to a shark, but I think you know that)

Developer (1 edit)

Yea we ran out time to further animate the shark eating the player xD

I love seeing games on here that aren't pixel art, it really shows that you put a lot of effort in it and it was really fun to play
