Great game! The art is really cute and I love the concept, it's very original! The differences between the "living" world and what the ghost can see are subtle but well executed. If you ever update the game, let me know so I can keep playing! 10/10.
Awesome presentation. I really liked the character sprites with the 3D background. The time effect on the split-screen and player "ghost"was really cool. I also really appreciated the interact symbol, which goes a long way to help players understand what they can do and start actively problem solving.
One downside (that I struggled with as well) is that players don't have anything to do while waiting for their counterpart to do their part of the puzzle. Most notably when the older character gets through the door.
Hey, thanks for the comment! That downside's due to a bug, the intention was that the key you can get in the house was one you had to give to the kid in order to open the door at the end of the house and continue. However, we didn't catch it in time, and the stage couldn't be completed either 😅 (it was designed to be twice as long, and we only managed to ship the 'tutorial'). If you're interested, we'll try to have the full intended experience available when uploads are reenabled after the jam 😊 thanks for playing!
Interesting game, but I couldn't figure out how to play really. I included it in my GMTK compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Thanks a lot for featuring our game! Sorry the controls weren't specified in the jam page, although we did put them as a button in the main menu 😅 Glad you found it interesting nonetheless
